Meet Maresciay Kellyann Daniel aka KELSTAR from Vryheid to Germiston, KELSTAR is a natural born versatile artist.
She is not only a musician; but also juggles fashion designing and dancing. An artist that tells a different story with every work of art she creates. KELSTAR has been harvesting her God given talent and feels it’s time for her to be unleashed, she writes her own lyrics. She has been featured on several artist’s songs like Sean Burke (South Africa) “Ama Poisa”, Bruno Bagi (Angola) “Got It” and “I like your style” as well as a song made just after the xenophobic attacks with the band Airland that was play listed on a several South African Radio stations.
KELSTAR has been busy in studio teaming up with the beatmaker DJ JT Cutmaster, they have few songs in the pipeline. Her songs range from Afro Pop to RNB and House that has its own unique sounds produced by the highly regarded DJ JT Cutmaster. KELSTAR is loaded with the vocal capabilities, sumptuous looks and captivating moves, singing in Zulu, Portuguese and English. Her latest single “The Sauce” is a yesteryear playsong “Taamatie so,so,so,so,so” a play song played by many young and old in South Africa and across our borders. What a better way to taking people down memory lane back to the days where kids played outside, back to the days of joy and laughter but at the same time the sauce means something especially sick, filthy, awesome etc. The Sauce is something that usually comes naturally.
