|“Love is Key Vol. 1: Abeokuta & Piano Riffs” is the first in a series of extended plays by Nigerian singer Noah Airé. It was released for free on 13 August, 2017 by Distinction Music Group. It is Noah’s first extended play since “The Lone STAR” which was released in January 2016.
The EP was preceded by the single “Call Me Sometime” which was released on 27 July, 2017. The EP was recorded in Abeokuta, Ogun State south-west Nigeria between the months of May and July 2017. The EP was solely produced and engineered by Noah and features vocals from poet Bibiana Ossai, singers Wonderboy & Bidex, and rappers Ola, Solar and Chain TraQ
Noah describes the EP as “a gift of love” and states that it was “inspired by my trips to Abeokuta”. Noah further states that “all songs started with a riff ringing in my head while playing the keyboard hence “Abeokuta and Piano Riffs”.
Noah Airé (pronounced Eye-Ray) born Noah Ohi Umoru is a Nigerian Singer-Songwriter, Music Producer, Audio Engineer, DJ/Remixer and Multi-Instrumentalist. He released his debut Extended Play “The Lone STAR” in 2016.
Noah’s primary genre is Pop Music but with a distinctive sound that he describes as “Alternative to Pop”. His music influence was predominantly Pop and Afro-Beats as he grew older he developed a taste for Hip-Hop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Reggae, House and Classical Music. He started out with releasing demos with the name “Neohshazzy” and producing under the name “DISTINCTIONBEAT” and since then has changed his name two times (NOAH then Noa’h) before settling with Noah Airé
